Lucy has more than thirty years clinical experience and counsels children 5+, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She provides treatment for bi-polar disorder, executive functioning, foster care adoption, infertility, internal family systems, medical issues, OCD, ODD, parenting issues, PDD, sexual abuse in children/teens/adults, sleep disorders and substance abuse.

Over the years she has worked with people who have a variety of neurobiological challenges including: ADHD/ADD, Autism, and a variety of mood disorders. She has worked with people who have suffered from trauma that is either complex or of a more specific nature, and with the impact of divorce, the loss of a loved one, or the challenges of a severe medical condition. She uses a number of different modalities to inform her work including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), parent education, relaxation training and behavioral analysis; both on their own and alongside medical and other interventions. Lucy aims to bring together the work of counseling with other approaches that might serve an individual client's needs.

Most of all, Lucy believes in the necessity of building a relationship of trust with her clients and a sense of belief in her client’s own strengths. She is passionate about helping individuals and families to find solutions that might become a part of who they are and that will make their life better long after counseling has ended.
